Titled “Addressing Fake News to Effectively Combat Terrorism,” this event seeks to empower citizens and media professionals to combat disinformation, a growing threat to social and political stability in West Africa.
This initiative is backed by the online media outlet Le Nouveau Reporter and will feature a range of experts, including Kondi Napo Sonhaye, an academic and digital specialist, Noël Kokou Tadegnon, a journalist with a focus on fact-checking, and Dr. Kodjo Avuletey, a teacher-researcher.
