Togo and the EU are Hosting the BlueInvest Africa 2025 Forum.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Prime Minister Victoire Tomegah-Dogbé met with Gwilym Ceri Jones, the European Union Ambassador to Togo. This meeting served as a platform to review the ongoing partnership between the EU and Togo, emphasizing key areas such as energy, agriculture, and digital technology.

The discussions also covered the Global Gateway initiative, which is an EU program aimed at funding sustainable infrastructure projects across Africa. The ambassador remarked, “We discussed concrete actions in these sectors and explored new opportunities for collaboration.”

Additionally, the preparation for the BlueInvest Africa 2025 investment forum was a significant topic of conversation. Scheduled to take place in Lomé later this year, this forum, initiated by the European Commission in 2022, seeks to link African blue economy entrepreneurs with global investors.
