Last week, the University of Lomé (UL) in Togo entered into a framework agreement with the SIGMA Scientific Group (Togo) and CESI School of Engineering (France).
This agreement is designed to enhance engineering education and applied research in critical areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainable urban development, and energy efficiency. It represents a significant advancement for the country’s premier public university in its pursuit of international collaboration and innovation.
The partnership is founded on several key components, including faculty and student exchanges, dual-degree programs, and collaborative research initiatives.
“This collaboration reflects our dedication to cultivating a new generation of skilled professionals and integrating the university into global networks of excellence,” stated Prof. Adama Mawulé Kpodar, President of UL.
“By prioritizing training and innovation, we are fostering an environment that promotes competitiveness and technological entrepreneurship,” remarked Mama Omorou, founder of SIGMA.
