Earthquake in Myanmar: 12 Dead, Shadow Government Calls for Urgent Help

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar has resulted in the deaths of at least 12 individuals, prompting a call for urgent international aid, according to the shadow foreign minister of the war-affected nation, who spoke to Reuters on Friday.

Zin Mar Aung, the leading diplomat of the parallel National Unity Government, indicated that members of the anti-junta militias, referred to as the People’s Defence Forces, would be offering humanitarian support.
