Edo Central, Nigeria – Yesterday, the Governor of Edo State personally inspected ongoing renovation works at several public schools across Edo Central, demonstrating leadership and commitment to educational reform. The visit is part of a broader effort to transform the state’s public education system and restore its dignity.

During the inspection, the Governor noted the previously deplorable conditions of many schools and emphasized the state government’s determination to provide modern, child-friendly learning environments.
“Our goal is clear: to restore dignity to public education by providing modern learning facilities, securing school environments, and ensuring every child has access to quality and affordable education,” the Governor stated.
Investing in Quality Teaching:
In addition to infrastructure upgrades, the Governor announced that the state is actively recruiting more qualified teachers to strengthen the quality of instruction in public schools.
