Nigerian Entrepreneur: Jack Tein Rich Provides Aid to Flood Victims

Nigeria – Jack-Rich, a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, is being recognized for his commitment to humanitarian causes, particularly his recent efforts to provide aid to flood victims in Borno State.

Response to Borno State Floods:

In September 2024, Borno State experienced devastating floods that displaced over 640,000 people. Jack-Rich extended his condolences and, through his foundation, the Belema Aid Foundation, collaborated with local authorities to provide essential resources to flood victims, including the construction of water facilities with a capacity of 120,000 litres to ensure access to clean water.

Support for Invictus Games Initiative:

In May 2024, Jack-Rich met with Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to discuss Nigeria’s potential hosting of the Invictus Games, demonstrating his commitment to supporting service members and promoting global camaraderie through sports.

Background as a Successful Entrepreneur:

Orphaned at a young age, Jack-Rich overcame significant challenges to establish himself as a successful entrepreneur. He founded Belemaoil Producing Limited, the first indigenous oil exploration and production company in Nigeria to emerge from an oil-producing community in the Niger Delta.

Philanthropic Initiatives:

Through his foundation, he has awarded scholarships to hundreds of students and contributed to the employment of over 3,000 Nigerian youths.
