Togo Launches Land Title Georeferencing Initiative

The Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) has initiated a national campaign to georeference land titles issued before 2007. The initiative aims to enhance the security of land ownership in Togo by establishing a modernized cadastral system that meets international standards.

According to a press release, the OTR is encouraging holders of non-georeferenced land titles dating from before 2007 to contact the land registry and land conservation services in Lomé or regional capitals to begin the updating process. The cost for this georeferencing operation is 35,000 FCFA.
