President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, High Chief Edem Duke, on his 70th birthday.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Chief Duke as a patriot whose life has been defined by service to the nation, community development, and the promotion of Nigeria’s cultural heritage.
The President praised the former minister for his contributions to national development, noting his years of service at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), as well as his tenure as Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation and Supervising Minister of Information.
According to the statement, President Tinubu also commended Chief Duke’s dedication to advancing Nigeria’s tourism industry and his pioneering role in the establishment of the Centenary City project in Abuja.
While extending his best wishes to the celebrant, the President prayed for Chief Duke’s continued good health, happiness, and prosperity in the years ahead.
