In Togo, the National Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology (INPIT) is planning to unveil a new visual identity. To achieve this, it has initiated a national competition for creating its upcoming logo and graphic design. This effort, spearheaded by the Ministry of Industry and Investment Promotion, seeks to modernize the institution’s image and more accurately represent its strategic objectives.

The competition, which is open to all Togolese until March 10, aims to encapsulate the core aspects of safeguarding industrial property rights, fostering technological progress, and promoting innovation. However, there is one important guideline: the use of the national coat of arms or any other official symbols is prohibited.
Established in 2001, INPIT plays a crucial role in the protection of patents, trademarks, and industrial designs in Togo.
As a representative of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), it collaborates with international organizations such as WIPO.
