Registration is free and open to everyone from the age of 5, and can be done with or without identification, provided the individual is accompanied by a registered witness. Pre-registration is also available at prerinscription.anid.gouv.tg. After registration, citizens receive their UIN and a QR code within 24 to 48 hours.
The UIN, available to all residents, aims to facilitate access to essential services such as healthcare, health insurance, and education, while also strengthening social and financial inclusion within the country.
