In Togo, BKG Distribution, a company focused on agricultural equipment sales, has initiated a program to supply tractors to farmers. This effort is part of a recently established financing partnership worth 3 billion FCFA with the Bank Of Africa (BOA-Togo), designed to assist Togolese farmers in acquiring essential agricultural machinery.
The first phase of this initiative occurred on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Tsévié, located 30 km north of Lomé, where ten agricultural service companies received tractors aimed at enhancing their operations. Beneficiary companies are offered flexible repayment options over three years, with competitive interest rates following the purchase of these machines.
This program, which will gradually expand to other regions of the country, enables BKG Distribution, a subsidiary of the EBOMAF Group, to provide farmers with a range of equipment, including combine harvesters and tractors, without requiring upfront payments. This initiative addresses the increasing demand for financing in the agricultural sector by streamlining access to vital equipment necessary for boosting productivity.
