Estelle Komlan has been named the CEO of Ecobank Togo, as announced by the pan-African banking group based in Lomé. Her appointment will take effect on April 7, 2025, succeeding Souleymane Touré, who has completed his tenure in Togo. Komlan will be responsible for steering the largest bank in the country by deposits towards its growth objectives.
This appointment is seen as a significant step in promoting female leadership within the West African financial sector. Estelle Komlan’s new role coincides with Salamata Diallo’s appointment as the head of Ecobank Liberia.
With 15 years of expertise in corporate banking, treasury, and financial management, Estelle Komlan is a prominent figure in the Togolese banking industry. She is particularly recognized for her role in establishing and managing the trading room at Orabank Togo, the only one of its kind in the nation.

Komlan holds a degree from HEC Montréal and is a certified public accountant (CPA Canada). Prior to her current role, she served in senior positions at Diamond Bank, focusing on liquidity risk management, correspondent banking, trade finance, and balance sheet optimization. Most recently, she was the Corporate Sales Director at Orabank Togo, overseeing key accounts and cash management.
