First Lady Tinubu Meets Melania Trump At White House AI Summit

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday attended the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” hosted by Melania Trump at the White House in Washington, DC.

Oluremi Tinubu joined 45 first ladies at the summit, including Brigitte Macron, at an event focused on expanding access to educational tools and safeguarding children in digital environments.

During the summit, Melania Trump introduced an American made humanoid system, Figure 3, marking the first time such technology has been formally presented to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.

“The future of AI is personified – it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility,” she said.

“This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework.

“Our coalition can make this vision real by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills they need – invest, expand access, and foster new opportunity.”

Officials from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, also presented national strategies aimed at integrating technology into education systems.

Melania Trump called on participating nations to collaborate in turning the summit’s vision into actionable outcomes.
