Introduction of a Trade Barrier Alert System in Togo.

In Togo, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo) is set to launch the Trade Obstacle Alert Mechanism (MAOC) on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Lomé.

This initiative, supported by the International Trade Centre (ITC), GIZ, and CCI-Togo, is part of a broader project spearheaded by the Ministry of Trade, Crafts, and Local Consumption. Its primary goal is to enhance trade by allowing businesses to identify and report barriers that impede their international operations in real time.

The MAOC is designed to address the specific challenges faced by Togolese economic operators in global markets. Through an interactive platform, companies will have the opportunity to report obstacles impacting their commercial activities, access tailored solutions and recommendations, and receive updates on the measures taken to eliminate these barriers.
