Port Excellence Gala: Celebrating Key Contributors to Lomé’s Port Success.

On the evening of February 21, 2024, the Sarakawa Hotel hosted the inaugural Port Excellence Gala, where numerous individuals and organizations were honored for their significant contributions to the effective operation of the port, logistics, and maritime sectors. Their achievements in excellence, innovation, and talent promotion were recognized and celebrated during this prestigious awards ceremony.

Dino Dadzie, the chairman of the organizing committee for this event, took the initiative to host this gathering, which was attended by relevant authorities in maritime transport and their representatives. Mr. Kodjo-Kouma Ayivon, the Director of Legal Affairs and Litigation at the Ministry of Maritime Economy, Fisheries and Coastal Protection, represented the supervising minister. He emphasized the significance of honoring and recognizing the contributions of the men and women whose expertise and dedication play a vital role in the well-being of the Togolese port sector.

The organizer of this inaugural event expressed appreciation for the support received from the Ministry of Maritime Economy and extended gratitude to Rear Admiral Kodjo Adegnon, the Director General of the Autonomous Port of Lomé.
