Professional Integration: The Ministry of Technical Education in Togo is Currently Recruiting.

In Togo, the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Apprenticeships (METFPA) has initiated a recruitment drive to train and integrate 175 young Togolese individuals into various professions. This effort is part of a broader initiative to expand short-term training programs, specifically aimed at supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged youth across the nation.

Training Tailored to Local Demands

The selected candidates will undergo training either in a company or at a specialized center, with durations ranging from two to four months, depending on their chosen profession. The fields of training include, based on regional needs, poultry farming, fish farming, market gardening, composting, meat and fish processing, shoemaking, irrigation techniques, and personal care.

Regional Distribution of Participants

The allocation of participants is as follows: 25 individuals from the Savanes Region; 35 from the Kara Region; 20 from the Central Region; 20 from the Plateaux – East; 25 from the Plateaux – West; 30 from the Maritime Region; and 20 from the Autonomous District of Greater Lomé (DAGL).

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 45, demonstrate motivation, present a project idea, and show a commitment to pursuing the profession they will learn.

Applications, which are free of charge, can be submitted until March 31, 2025, at the regional technical education offices.
