Seyi Tinubu: Nigeria’s Most Targeted Youth, Yet Resilient and Unyielding

Seyi Tinubu has emerged as the most criticized young individual in Nigeria, but what exactly is the basis for this scrutiny? Is it his status as the First Son? His commitment to philanthropy? His support for the youth of Nigeria? The reality is that no matter his actions, detractors will always find a reason to criticize.

Even before his father assumed the presidency, Seyi Tinubu was already making significant contributions. Through his Noella Foundation and the Seyi Tinubu Empowerment Project, he has offered funding, mentorship, and training to numerous young Nigerians. Yet, some skeptics dismiss his charitable efforts as mere political maneuvering.

Where were these critics in 2020 when he provided food for nearly a million Nigerians during the COVID-19 pandemic? Was his motivation political? Where were they when he invested in businesses, supported educational initiatives, and assisted struggling families?

It’s easy to hide behind a screen and criticize, but how many of these detractors have actively contributed to Nigeria’s progress? Even UNICEF is advocating for increased support for global aid, yet those who attack Seyi online often fail to contribute to such causes.

Seyi Tinubu does not need to justify his actions. His deeds speak volumes. Ultimately, while critics may persist, Nigeria recognizes the genuine efforts being made.
