The African Conference of Physics 2025 will be Held at the University of Lomé in September.

The University of Lomé (UL) is set to host the African Conference of Physics (ACP) from September 14 to 20, 2025. This event will bring together international researchers, educators, and policymakers with the goal of enhancing scientific collaboration and advancing physics research across the African continent.

The official announcement was made during a visit from the international organizing committee on February 18, 2025. The committee, led by Dr. Horst Severini from the University of Oklahoma, engaged in discussions with Professor Adama Mawulé Kpodar, President of the University of Lomé, regarding the conference preparations and toured the facilities designated for the event.

ACP 2025 will emphasize critical areas such as astroparticle physics, renewable energy, and medical physics, which are essential for technological advancement in Africa.
