In Togo, the government is enhancing its flood risk management strategy to address the ongoing challenges faced in Greater Lomé.
This week, a high-level meeting convened by Prime Minister Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé brought together all relevant stakeholders to review the actions taken in 2024 and to strategize for 2025.
For the 2024 Preparation and Response Plan, a budget of 1.7 billion FCFA has been allocated.
In 2024, the Flood Preparedness and Response Plan (PPR) utilized 50 million FCFA from government resources, complemented by 1.69 billion FCFA in external funding.
