President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Friday begin a nine-day visit to Plateau, Lagos, Ogun, and Bayelsa states, combining official engagements, project inaugurations, and Easter observances.

According to a statement by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the President’s initial trip to Ogun State has been rescheduled, with Tinubu now set to first visit Jos, Plateau State, to commiserate with victims and authorities over recent gun attacks that claimed several lives.

From Plateau, Tinubu will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday before travelling to Ogun State on Saturday, April 4, to inaugurate the Gateway International Cargo Airport and two commercial aircraft aimed at boosting trade and economic growth.

During the Ogun visit, the President is also expected to commission facilities of the Nigerian Customs Service, including a new Federal Operations Unit complex and operational vehicles.

Tinubu will then return to Lagos, where he is scheduled to inaugurate key infrastructure projects executed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, including the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, and other public facilities.

The President will conclude the tour with a visit to Bayelsa State on April 10, where he will commission projects completed under Governor Duoye Diri before returning to Abuja.

The visit underscores a mix of governance, infrastructure development, and national solidarity engagements across the four states.
