Tinubu To Visit Kebbi, Inaugurate Projects, Attend Argungu Festival

President Bola Tinubu will on Saturday embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.

According to a statement issued by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will commission key projects undertaken by the Kebbi State Government as part of efforts to drive development in the state.

While in Kebbi, Tinubu will also headline the 61st edition of the annual Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour.

The festival, staged along the historic Matan Fada riverside, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events and has been recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The visit underscores the administration’s support for subnational development initiatives and cultural heritage promotion.
