Togo Aims to Train 600 IT Professional in Digital Transformation

The Togolese government has just launched an international call for tenders to select an accredited service provider to train 600 Togolese specialists in key digital professions: digital marketing, data science, and IT support.

The initiative, which should strengthen national skills in digital transformation, is launched through the Togo Digital Agency (ATD), the operational arm of the Ministry of the Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, with the support of the ProDigiT project (co-financed by German cooperation (GIZ), the European Union and Luxembourg).

In detail, the service provider selected for this mission will not only have to train and certify participants according to international standards, but also transfer its tools and content to local centers to ensure the sustainability of the system.

Ultimately, these centers will themselves be able to offer certified courses, thus strengthening national autonomy in terms of digital human capital.

The call for applications is open until April 14, 2025.
