A reciprocal visa exemption agreement has been established for holders of diplomatic and service passports from Togo and Cambodia. It is important to note that Cambodia already provides visas on arrival for Togolese citizens.
This agreement was part of efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation, formalized on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Phnom Penh during the official visit of Togolese Foreign Minister Robert Dussey to Cambodia.

The discussions, led by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sokhonn Prak, were aimed at strengthening the economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries. Minister Dussey highlighted that the talks concentrated on trade, investment, and governance. With its open economic policies, Cambodia could serve as a gateway to Asia for Togolese businesses.
Additionally, a memorandum of understanding regarding political consultations between the two foreign ministries was signed.
Robert Dussey stated that these agreements will aid in “facilitating exchanges and enhancing the bonds of friendship and cooperation” between Togo and Cambodia.
