Togo: Apprenticeship Certificate Exam Registration is now Digital.

In Togo, the process for registering for the Apprenticeship Completion Certificate (CFA) exams and the issuance of diplomas has transitioned to a fully digital format. This initiative, launched on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Lomé by Minister of Vocational Training Isaac Tchiakpé, is accessible through the service-public.gouv.tg portal.

This effort is part of a broader initiative to modernize public services and stems from a partnership between the Ministry of Commerce, Crafts and Local Consumption and the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Apprenticeship, with technical assistance from the Togo Digital Agency (ATD). The creation of this digital platform addresses the needs expressed by artisans during various consultations with government officials.

The goal of this digital transformation is to streamline administrative processes and expedite the diploma issuance timeline. Under the new system, the Directorate of Examinations, Competitions, and Certification (DECC) will be able to deliver all diplomas for an examination session within six months of announcing the results, significantly reducing the waiting period for candidates.

Minister Isaac Tchiakpé emphasized that this digital initiative demonstrates a strong commitment to modernizing administration and enhancing service quality for citizens.

He stated, “This platform aligns with the ambitions outlined in our roadmap and the vision of the Head of State, which prioritizes digitalization as a key component of our national development strategy.

Our goal is to facilitate access to services and the issuance of administrative documents, thereby improving the daily lives of our citizens.”

The Togolese government aims to digitize 75% of administrative procedures by the end of 2025.
