The Togolese branch of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), previously known as Bolloré Transport & Logistics, has enhanced its fleet with the addition of ten new Terberg tractors. This equipment, received this week, is part of a strategy to boost the performance of the port of Lomé, which aims to establish itself as a premier port hub in West Africa.
These tractors are specifically designed for the efficient handling of trailers and containers, providing an optimized solution for transporting loads over short distances. Their implementation is expected to improve the fluidity of transport operations at AGL-Togo, minimizing delays and enhancing efficiency compared to conventional trucks.
Set to operate at the Lomé terminal, these specialized vehicles will streamline the organization of goods flows and bolster the productivity of port infrastructure.
Through this acquisition, AGL reaffirms its dedication to innovation and the modernization of its fleet, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of the port of Lomé. This initiative aligns with the aspirations of the Togolese authorities, who seek to position the country as a key logistics hub in West Africa.
