Togo is working to Create a Global Language Center for Entrepreneurs.

By establishing the Business Language Center, a language training facility for professionals and entrepreneurs looking to expand their operations on global markets, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo) hopes to increase the competitiveness of Togolese economic operators abroad.

The goal is to give Togolese businesses proficiency in three essential languages—English, Chinese, and German—so they can expand globally. The CCI-Togo states that the goal of this training is to eliminate the language barrier, which is a significant barrier to international investment and trade.

The center’s objective is to assist national economic actors in strengthening their capacity to enter new markets, negotiate contracts, and expand their global footprint. The consular representation is initiating a preliminary study in this regard and requests that economic participants register by February 28, 2025, using a specific form.
