Togo: Several Inaugurations Planned for the 65th Independence Anniversary.

In Togo, a series of inaugurations and foundation stone ceremonies are scheduled to coincide with the celebration of the nation’s 65th independence anniversary. According to the official agenda, the events will commence on Tuesday, April 22, in Dapaong, located in the Savanes region, where the foundation stone for a solar power plant will be laid. This initiative is part of the national goal to enhance energy accessibility, with the plant expected to have an installed capacity of 25 megawatts-peak (MWp) and situated on over 115 hectares in Dalwak.

Following this, Lomé will host a series of inaugurations on April 23 and 24 at the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA), which will include a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, a nutritional supplement production unit (Nutrisource), an aluminum frame company (Vivace), and the commencement of a future textile factory.

Additionally, the inauguration of the Kekeli service center in Djidjolé and the Benhart clothing factory in Datcha has also been announced. For the government, these inaugurations during the national celebrations signify a commitment to enhancing the country’s appeal, attracting more investors, and accelerating the pace of industrialization.
